Maroteaux–Lamy syndrome (also known as Mucopolysaccharidosis type VI" or Polydystrophic Dwarfism) is a form of mucopolysaccharidosis caused by a deficiency in arylsulfatase B (ARSB). It is named after Pierre Maroteaux and Maurice Lamy.
