Positively regulates vesicle fusion by maintaining the readily releasable pool of secretory vesicles. (Microbial infection) Possible receptor for C.botulinum neurotoxin type D (BoNT/D, botD); note that type D does not usually infect humans; Belongs to the major facilitator superfamily.
